When you are at your best, you are unstoppable but on a bad day, nothing seems to go right and you feel like going home. Many sports people know that the standard of their game is related to that of their competition - look at surprise results from top football clubs losing to no-hopers drawn against them. If you play with somebody much better than you, your game goes up but if you are the much better player, you may win (or lose) and your performance will be one of your poorest.
Your body is capable of performing all the skills you have. In various corners of your mind are the secrets of how to do that. This is important. Take a Hennessy Venom F5, with a claimed top speed of 301mph and let different drivers have a go in it: A little old lady would probably drive it at 40mph; a drunk would probably drive it at a wall; somebody who can't drive would probably stall it and leave it standing still; then comes along Lewis Hamilton. The driver in the car is like your brain in your body.
There are two ways we can make sure your brain is going to drive your body well. Using hypnosis, I can help you clear any causes of anxiety which will be a handicap. I can also give you a way of calling up the memories of excellent performances so you fill your head with them like you have just done them. You can do this during practice and you can do this before and during an event. You will feel on your best form and be well equipped to do your best.
